Ok does the evac eliminate the Top Loss or not?????

I thought that the top-end loss was fixed with clutching... the ECP kit makes its peak power at 10700-10800, and stock clutching likes 10000-10100.

That makes no sence to me. some guys liek Mighty Warrior were only seeing 103 mph at 10300. This was on a lake going well over 1500 feet. I can't see 400 RPMs adding 34 MPH to the speedo.

. I have personally tested 4 different sleds with absolutely no loss of top end once the clutching was straightened out. I actually saw an increase in top end speed on radar as well as the speedometer.

I lost top end with the ecp Kit period! 103 was the fastest I could get it to go on a hard packed lake (perfect conditions for speed runs) but I had stock clutching. I installed the evac kit and saw over 110 in a very short distance down a snow covered dirt road just down from my house. Speed was still climbing but I ran out of road. I was still stock clutched. Now I have both the ECP kit and Matt's stage 2 kit calibrated for the ecp kit and I'm hoping to see the 130's (on the dream-0- meter) like I did with the stock airbox.

Stock Warrior on Houghton Lake January 03 in perfect conditions I surpassed 130 on the dream-o-meter. Same spot the year earlier I was in the mid to high 130's on my RX-1.welterracer said:MightyWarrior said:Dan i dont think you ever saw 130 on the warrior!

Same spot after I installed the kit I couldn't go past 103. I felt like I was going fast but the speedo didn't think so.

Something is wrong with your calender. There were no Warriors in January 03, unless you had a prototype....
Warrior MPH
Welt, I saw 136 on the speedo on my 04Warrior with no studs, ECP Filter Kit, Hauck Clutch Kit, and no EVAC kit. I am going to try a Stage II kit and an EVAC kit this year.

There must be something very wrong with BOTH of the warriors i owned as NETHER of them would surpase 117mph on the dreammeter STock or modified!!
You guys must be running off a cliff or down hill..
Not saying it isnt possible.. but man i had two of them and they just wont do it for me anyways..

Thats a tempting invite... Rib lake is like 5 or 6 hours away from me though..
It would be fun though..
I will tell ya this... I held my warrior WFO for over two miles to get it to read 117mph.. It will hit 110 no problem..then slowly climbs..
I HAVENOT had the chance to ride my sled this year now that i have reinstalled my ECP/evac kit on my sled with the carbs synced and skis aligned!
