Brian...you want things wayyyyy too easy. Despite this, please take a look at my new post about clutching. I am not sitting still with addressing peoples problems. I want EVERYONE happy. For the record I have 100+ people that are NOT experiencing top end speed loss with no other work performed to their sleds other then the air kits. I am sure there are also more but these people simply are not reporting back to me.
I do understand your frustration with this but for once, how about offering something constructive instead of telling everyone in the world that all your high performance parts are going to collect dust on the shelf? I once remember a time when you were very happy with the performance of the kit. If your performance dropped then I suggest looking for the source of the problem until you find it and not asking everyone to do it for you...for free. I will post the clutch topic, but do not remark on it unless there are legitimate questions that need to be answered.
This goes for everyone and I am not singling one or 2 people out but it is time this needs to be said...As always I welcome questions but begin challenging me and you will get nowhere. Respect everything that I write about as they are the truth as far as my experiences go...which are quite vast. Anything other than cooperation and I'm afraid that I take it offensively because basically someone is calling me a liar and I have a problem with that.
If you are not part of the solution, you must be part of the problem.
Please accept my writings and ideas and use them for whatever they may be worth.

Finally got a chance to put my kit on last Friday. Did some riding over the weekend. All I can say Freddie is thank you My 03 shorty still will get to 120 indicated and rpms are still where they were(about 10,600-10,800). It definitely gets there alot quicker though :!:

I hear this about 25 - 50 times a week. This is absolute proof that the top end issues are isolated to certain sleds and finding the problems with these sleds is the key. When you make more HP, you go faster. No science could possibly argue with that.

I think the ups guy is using my kit as a doorstop. Hey Freddie, is there anything fragile in the kit cause I think I might beat the ups guy with the box when it does show up.

Freddie gave me the tracking # but naturally I lost it. I forgot yesterday was a holiday so maybe it'll show up today. If it doesn't I'll give Freddie a call back and get the # again.

Just got back from the lake by me and hit 125 on the speedo, now keep in mind this sled is geared down and set up for drags, not high speed runs. Turning 10100 and hanging on for dear life cause the lake was pretty ruff. Pretty sure it will go faster if it was smoother. Going up tomorrow with the truck, trailer and maybe my buddies Warrior that also has the K&N's. Going to try a bunch of different stuff and maybe it will help you guys out.
03 shorty, ECP Filters, 165 Mains, Air screws 3 turns, Needles Raised, Bender Silencer, 192 woody's, stock track, 52.9 Heavy Hitters. And goes like hell.
