These look real good to replace a the fox in a single shot, with different levels of upgrades. But haven't heard a dam thing about them.
Has anyone here use them on anything?

Talked to a yamaha cross country racer few months ago and he would highly recommend any shocks with Elkas shocks, I will probably be looking to put them on my phazer eventually

Yamaha Snowmobile Race Team is now using Elka shocks.

I find it interesting that Yamaha has partnered with Elka in cross country and hillclimb, but you don't see their products as an offering on the production sleds. Usually a race improvement is offered as a package in the following production year if it works out. Maybe I am missing something, or maybe the Fox agreement is more restrictive on production sleds.

All I know is if you ask some of the guys over on the Arctic Cat SXS forum, they will tell you the SXS shocks perform well, but have horrible reliability. Many are losing oil and getting more than one of their four replaced in the first year alone. These could be isolated incidents, but they sure are crying loud with few arguing the quality.

It could very well be that AC chose a lower quality or budget build shock package for the models they included them on. AC has been known to use product from the lowest cost bidder. So who knows. That and the sled line of shocks could be entirely different from the shocks they use on their Wildcats.

I have the stage 2 rear shock and I love it. I am going to put them up front next just call them and order them they come all set you will be happy

We were probably the first to have them on sno-x sleds several years ago..we gave them back and went to Fox like 90% of the top teams use today.
They worked very hard to help us..

But .they have had several years to perfect it..so I would guess they are good today..
Top ATV guys race Elka...3 years ago..

I prefer the air shock..
