I currently ride with my 3 and 5 year old on the front of my Nytro - it's actually quite comfy.
I don't see why this couldn't be done with the Phazer because with exception to a skinnier seat, kids should be fine?
Can anyone confirm this or let me know why it would be harder on the Phazer than the Nytro?

Once my kid was tall enough to stand with feet on runningboards sitting on the back I started giving her rides.I do admit to riding with kid in front on SRX but you can sit back further.Made me nervous but kids sure enjoyed it and I was very careful and never drove over 30mph.

I had a tall 5 year old on the front of mine once. Forgot to tell him to hold onto the holes in the tank cover so his hands got cold holding onto the bar pad. If you sit back too far on a Phazer, you can break the lens off the taillight. Had it happen once.

A friend of mine was ridding with his boy up front. His boy cracked his wallnuts on the gas tank going over a bump.

Phazer Is the best kid hauler I've ever owned. Lots of places for them to hold on, and they can put their feet on the top of the stirrups, so their feet don't dangle. I rode lots of miles with my son before he was old enough to ride his own sled. Now I chase him.

Every time I read the title of this thread, I picture a child sitting on the bumper going down the trail. Hey, it's the front of the sled!!

I rode thousands of miles trail riding with my daughter, had a Velcro strap that ran around both of us.
That kept her on when she fell asleep.
She slept ALOT! lol
Finally Velcro-ed her helmet to me also so that her head wouldn't bounce around.

and once they are old enough to ride on back you can get a belt that has handles on the back and side (Powermadd) - makes it much easier for small hands to told on plus you can tell when they are not holding on

My daughter rides in front of me locally but she is going on 6 years old now and it tall enough where the chin of my helmet is starting to smack her helmet on mild bumps. Time to find used 120 sled to fix up.

I have the "gas tank handlebar" from Royal distributing, and the Seat Jack.
My 4yr old goes in front of me and hangs on to the gas tank bar, 6 year old sits on the back (seat jack) and I bought the handle-strap that goes around your jacket so the kid on the back has better handles. It is a bit hard for my 6yr old to hang on to the 2-up seat handles.
Works great.

I agree. I have my kids hold onto the pad in the center of the handlebars so they don't smack their heads forward into it on bumps. Warm enough gloves and they do fine. Does better than my nytro as they can be closer to the handlebar pad than on the nytro.
