I am thinking about cutting off and caping the side exaust ports. then cutting a slot in the bottom of the muffler and gutting the thing. Or I could remove the whole muffler , beef up the shroud to still be able to secure the seat and just extend the pipes back and dump under the tunnel. Any input is apreciated. Will I need to rejet? :?:

Right I am building one off units, but am working with an exhaust manufacturer to produce them, that one shown only weighs 11 pounds.

Its a great idea to get those exhaust fairings out of the way of your legs. If you are a guy that can fabricate, how about something to get the rear cooling hoses off the running boards (without installing a whole new tunnel). They drive me crazy!
