My dealer has a rtx w/excell exhaust installed and we wanted to give it a try,but the packing was all lose inside and he was waiting for the new one to arrive, but we talked him into letting us test it againest the clutched up gt with 1300+ miles and the driver only 150#,now i am 240 dressed and the rtx is stock clutching except cut helix and exhaust,we dident know if the performance would be hindered w/out the packing in the muffler or not,but my guess is it is down on power w/out it,anyway we ran 1 mile at least down a sloopy rail bed,he could take me out of the hole and thru mid by 5 sleds and than i would peddle on by at least 5-6 sleds and run gps 103mph when the most he could see on his gt w/gps was 96mph not bad at all,and it pulls very hard,i think with the proper packing and a clutch kit it will make alot of happy people..

Saw the RTX with the Excell at Cedar Pines on Tug Hill. I also saw the same one on the trail that day. It BARKS it's a loud pipe. It sounds great but man does it bark. He let his buddies take it for a ride at the Pines and we listened to it an what a sound it has. I liked it but I bet the cops won't. Doug

He said he did not "feel" any difference but he liked the sound. I did not run against it at all. Doug

I saw a Apex RTX with a single pipe running out the back. THe dual exhaust extentions were removed making the single pipe look stock from the back. Talk about a bark, listen to him ride off into the sunset sounding like a hound chasing a rabbit. Sweet sound but way to noisey that would give me a headache and ears ringing for a week. Diffently not stock.
