just curious if the tunnel bag has been upgraded. I got mine today and it has a reinforced area where I would think the seat screw would hit. Is this new or always there? If it's not new I can't believe a hole would wear through it.

Same here. Really like the bag though. Will glue something on there with Superglue.

first thing you should do is take a grinder and round off all the corners of the tab. This will extend the life 10 fold. I also moved mine a bit farther back so it doesnt hit that seat screw tab.

I spliced a short piece of hose and placed it over the metal edge securing it with a zip tie. No bag rips here.

Cat bag, but same thing. I rounded everything off on the tab and covered it in tape, may try the hose trick above.

Nice bag so far. Really like it last weekend for the first use. I had maps, 2 sets of Gaulents, spare gloves, hand warmers, spare belt, extra face mask, fox air pump and didn't have it expanded. Lots of room.
