Interesting......some say huge difference and some little..........In Laymans terms would you compare the EXUP to a 2 stroke with power valves vs non power valves ? ?

I just picked up an Apex XTX 2013 over the weekend. Got 300 miles on it and my buddy had my indentical 08 GT LTX We raced a couple of times and I pulled away every time and had as many 5 sled lenghts. I'm sure it will get a little better once I get it broke in. Next weekend should finish that off!
Time to get to work and get all my goodies on it!

My 2011 has much better mid range pull and top end when comparing to older apexs. The exup has monster mid range torque. And the esp is awesome.F7 Racer said:I am looking for info on whether or not the EXUP is in fact that much faster than the non EXUP Apex's......Any and all comments or experience is greatly appreciated.

The EXUP system appeared more than two decades ago on a 1987 Yamaha FZR400R .Ensures superior low to mid-range performance, more linear power output

Are the floats a pain in the #*$&@ to setup? I heard weather and temperature affects them. Will I be much happier on this than my 06 GT? I hate mine in rough stuff like ungroomed high traffic trails it is terrible I have a chance to buy an 11 SE for a good price I want to make sure I'll be happy.

se's can leave you stranded if and when the megafloat bladder fails~

Once o got the floats adjusted properly it was fine. Dealer adjusted them improperly indoors. Next morning i had to adjust them properly. Big temp swings will change the pressure. But it was like a 50 degree temp change. I am much happier with the 11 than i was with my 06 gt.
