Phazer Fan Options

Boon

I was out of town this weekend, I take a Pic after work tomorrow, and post it.

Sorry for the delay, but i finally got a pic of the fan bracket.
All I ended up doing is cutting the bracket where you see the screwdriver pointing, and drilled a hole in it and mounted to one of the fan motor bolts. Was able to just angle it up to the existing mount on the radiator. Getting this fan assembly to fit was far easier then i could have ever expected.

Sorry but i do not know if this was the left or right fan. I honestly dont know if there is a difference between the two, but im sure either will work.

Before anyone says it, i am going to paint a bunch of other stuff. I will be taking this back off to paint it as well.

Question...... do you know if that r6 fan has the same motor speed as the available one for the phazer on the Yamaha parts?

It would still be overheating if that R6 fan was not moving as strong as the phazer one would be if that is the case.

I don't know if you'll get e response from a 3 year old thread. He did say that the R6 was too big.

Ya but they also mentioned that certain years of the r6 fan actually fit, like the 2004's from the other thread

Some info is a bit ambiguous. I would go for the sure thing myself.

What would you recommend for the fan option then?

The R1 fan. I'm just going with what I read here. If you want you can wait for some responses. No rush right now ;)

Ya lol, I have all summer to get one in there, I just want to make sure when im ordering I buy the correct fan~

Come to think of it, you won't get a response from the people in this thread since all thread subscriptions were lost during the site upgrade.

ya probability not, crap I really wanted to know the best fan for the phazer also.....

You could try sending PM's.
