Hey guys my stock slides have about 1,300 miles on them and they are getting pretty worn...if i ride more I know they will eventually wear through so I got a set of slides to put on...Mainly I was wondering if i SHOULD or SHOULD NOT drill the little areas out on the contact part of the slides to help hold snow better??? I know there have been posts about this but I figure the people that did it would know by now if it helped. Thanks guys and good ridin! :rocks:

Meaning to try that myself and the Polaris slides are supposed to be better lasting.Anyone notice any difference?

If you ride mostly powder or ice it's a good idea.

If you EVER ride in low snow, dirty or snirt DO NOT as it will actually trap dirt and grime and shorten the life of your slides and clips...

Would the slides even wear in powder..i always thought really the only time they wear is if there isnt snow providing the lube and cushion. Thats why I always try to swirve into powder every few hundred feet..seems to help alot.

Over 2200 miles on my original slides, still had 1/4" when I switched to the freeRide. 90% where UP powder and perfect trail conditions.
