Well boys, the Phazer now has 7.8 miles on it. Spent the night zipping it around in the pastures down here. Theres about 6" in all the fields so me and my buddy tore it up for a bit.
All I can say is that I am really impressed with it. It'll pick the skis up no problem. the throttle response is amazing, i've never ridden a sled that responds so quickly. And as for nimble, I can tip it right over on it's side, while sitting down. It's awesome!
Got to jump it a little over some irrigation ditchs and some ridges between fields and this thing is a jumping mo' fo. It lands so smooth, it's like butter baby. And that's on 6" of snow with frozen soil underneath. The front end is so soft and smooth on the landings. So far I'm very happy with the sled, but how it acts in the deep stuff will be another story. Plus, the exhaust I built for it sounds simply awesome at 11,000rpm.
Me and my buddy did a few drag races as well, he's on a 01' RMK 800 with a 151" finger track and SLP single. The Phazer will actually take him out of the hole until about 30mph then he just goes whizzing by me. I had the sled up to about 60 mph and it feels decent, you can definatly feel it drop off around 40mph though. It reminds me alot of the feel of the 600 Rev on the topend.
Now I just gotta get it up on the hill...

Superman,
Have you been able to ride yours. I like to hear others thoughts on the Mountain Lite while I sit here in the rain. Waiting for snow.

Yes but not much more than about 5 miles. but it was all smiles what little I did. For a 80hp 4-stroke 500cc twin she's a little torque monster down low. I would compare the top end more to the v-max 500's I've rode in years past. Weight transfer is excellent. Need snow to give a really good review of handling and such. But so far I'm really excited.
