so I picked this viper up end of last year it's a 2014 viper mtx turbo has 1000 Kms on it I'm about to do my first oils change looking for any tips and tricks also why do they not have a dipstick!! I know there is a thread about this but just looking for direct tips and how do I know about my oil level through the sight glass on the side?

I like to just change the filter every time and just fill it up to spec which is almost to the top of the sight glass. I don't know off the top of my head what is spec but it's in the manual

Yeah filter for sure is getting changed, just looking at best way to empty the oilI like to just change the filter every time and just fill it up to spec which is almost to the top of the sight glass. I don't know off the top of my head what is spec but it's in the manual

I use a cardboard tube from a paper towel roll and stick it through the running boardYeah filter for sure is getting changed, just looking at best way to empty the oil

Changing the oil is not hard at all. I don't like the idea of changing just the filter. One oil change a year.
I used half of a yama lube bottle in the footwell. Worked perfect.
