86 miles yesterday. First ever turbo sled. Coming off Nytro X-TX with Hindle/Hurricane.
Simply amazing. Over the top power for a N/A guy my whole life. So smooth, so linear. Freaky quiet. Only reached 172c for temp, with a few miles of severely plowed road. Would show more after sitting a bit then hitting the key, but cooled over in no time. Not an issue that.
It was about 6f... quickly learned I need a new helmet, new windshield or both. Higher sustained speeds = getting cold more. Not to self: buy better gear, soon. With the Powermadd guards and the warmers on, hands didn't get cold. I would have had the gauntlets on were I on the Nytro. Seat warmer is icing on the cake.
Bud riding behind me says when you see it stop spinning and it hooks up... it's just gone. My seat burned #*$&@ agrees. Good traction with the Back Country, shocks worked well in my limited time.
Thinking it need a tad more pressure on the skis, as the front doesn't drop like I am used to. I think the engine breaking on the Nytro was more prevalent than this, so I need to work that out of my memory banks as I learn this new chassis.
For a short ride, I was overall impressed with the sled. More than I expected in most cases, as much as I expected in the rest.
Quick clip of the ride.

Love the finger on the brake! At the speeds these things rip, good to be ready!

None to speak of in your video. I just don't want to put aftermarket skis on to solve a problem that I may not have. Lol! Just me being tight.

What kind of top speed are you getting with this sled? I have the same sled and just getting some brake in miles on it. Mine is still set up the way it came new. Going to ride it some then adjust. Light on steering pressure now also.

"Top speed" I don't really know. I held it to 103 easily, and my buddy got it up to 110 when I let him drive it. Said there was more in it.What kind of top speed are you getting with this sled? Cool ride Snake, or should I say cold!
They are nice sleds, they have the looks, ride and power, right out of the box.
I also found trails Saturday during our snow event. Trailered a bit over an hour away to do so. All stock except for hand guard and mirrors, still waiting for parts so I found that the super cool short windshield is exactly that. The sled ride is really sweet, quite stable and handling was OK until the snow started to accumulate. With 3-5" of light fluff on packed trails the stock skis pushed a lot in corners, but no darting what so ever! Had a real tough time staying out of throttle for 50 miles. Yeah that heated seat was the cats *^%#** on a cold day, more then I could stand on low, works real nice and warms the entire body.
Can't wait for next ride so I can use more power with motor break in. Towards the end of ride I started doing some short WOT, first pulls were at 8500, after 4-5 more it was spinning 8750. Stopped at 95 on speedo. With more break in time will come more WOT... every bit of throttle makes a difference on 4 strokes, gotta love that huh. Come On Winter!

Sweet. I opened mine up for a short bit last night for the first time and it would only stay in double digits."Top speed" I don't really know. I held it to 103 easily, and my buddy got it up to 110 when I let him drive it. Said there was more in it.
