Unfortunetly all of the fuel stabalizing products are designed to do the same thing - absorb water - that is why ethanol was put into fuel to begin with - that being the case, all of the fuel stabilizers have some form of alcohol in them - Sea Foam has rubbing alcohol and Sta-Bil has propanol - so in effect you are compounding the problem - however, I do believe propanol does not evaporate as quickly as alcohol - but I have seen Sta-Bil coagulate from too much water content - I just store my stuff with race fuel!!
P.S. - did not mean to steal the thread!!

Been using the fitch since 98 have had them in 97sx700 viper vector and last year used the same ones from 98 in the apex.Just went out and opened the fuel cap on the apex and the fuel smell as fresh as the new fuel i just got for the lawnmower.Have had good luck with them.
