Skinz heated brake lever. Since they are going out of business I found one of the last ones and grabbed it.

Hopefully it keeps my left digits happy next year

Those things work.
Be careful when loading sleds without gloves, it will burn your finger.
I ran mine on a separate lighted switch.

Do these really work well?

Are guys driving with fingers on the brake handle? Im not understanding what is the need for a handle heated that I don't hang on to. :dunno:
I rest my index finger on the brake when riding through the twisties or when I am right behind someone. I don't keep it there in the straight stretches.

:dunno: Even though I grew up riding dirt bikes and out of habit I cover the brake lever with one finger, sometimes two whenever I am anywhere near a corner (if I see a corner, even if it is in the distance I am already covering the lever), I am not sure I need a heated lever. Even in the twisties where I have it covered constantly, I am not putting any pressure on it, just having a finger there is enough. Dunno. Probably best I have never tried on based on the price.

10 4 .. I guess i could see that.. I don't use my brake to much..

You always ride with a finger on brake lever.

Guys who learn on street bikes first tend to not cover the brake lever. Thats just an observation and I am sure there are lots of exceptions but in most street courses they will tell you to keep fully on the grip and not to reach for the lever.

I also ride with one finger on the lever. Had to adjust a little bit with the sidewinder though, as with even a bit of pressure the brake light turns on, messes up the person following me :)
