I did the same thing, 1.5 track, ulmer clutch, base model 07, no gear change.

I don't think i lost any top end.

Wayne county trails are all road crossings and 90 turns at the end of orchard rows. I get way more use out of the low end.

I think same top end plus adding new bigger X wheels from Excell may bring it up a little, I just ordered 6 so I keep ya posted how they work out

i lost 8 mph with the 136 freeride vs the 121 stock. it improved the sled and i can ride thru bottomless powder with it - i did it this weekend.

I never see deep snow around here to actually ride or play in, but just turning around in my yard when it's just 'kind of' deep, with the stock, short track, mine goes down like a cheap.....boat. I was amazed how BAD it was the first time i did it! I thought the belt was slipping or something was broke!

i changed my secondary on my 136x1.75 phazer...i had 17 tooth top gear too...and ulmer clutch kit...ran great

i'd install the kit first & see if you have any issues. you might be ok. then mess with secondary if needed.

if anything contact ulmer to get an idea to start where the secondary should be.

i got everything installed, where should my rpm's be at? im at 11700 when i pin it and they fall back to 11400. does that sound rite?
