I have about 8000 miles on my onlite bushings in the front seems like they are wore out how many’s miles is everyone seeing to get out of theirs?

well have about 11000 mi on the ones in my 11 apex xtx.

The big question is greasable bolts and a arms by the bulk head bushings? Maims last because his are greaseable, on my 05 rx1 warrior the grease fitting were not there from factory(they are now) and after about 10000kms I thought the oiltes were worn out. Nope they worn the bolts, I changed the bolts and the slop disappeared. Greasing them really seems to help them last.

Does anyone know if you can buy a kit somewhere with all the bushings for a front end in it. I have a friend that needs some for his 06 Venture very badly.

I know in Canada they are available at the Yamaha dealer and at Royal distributing

Thanks Kirkswim, I know I can go on a parts site and pick them all out on the microfiche, but I was wondering if any vendor had made up bushing kits with all the right bushings to do a front end rebuild. I think I bought something like that years ago when I rebuilt the skid on my SXR. Just curious as my friend just lets his junk go until something breaks and then I end up having to help him get it fixed up again.

when i buy them, they are a kit from the dealer as ulmer can take too long for me to get it here in northern on.

here is an example of the kit from yamaha for an 06 venture in canada pricing. SMA-8FTFR-KT-00 is that part #. should be the same in the usa. comes up at $225.00 canadian atm and yes we get hosed on pricing for parts here as that is + tax.

Thanks Viper Dave I will check them out too. Fun fact: My friend that doesn't know how to work on his stuff is Mark S that you ran into a few years back up at a TY Ride in Munising. I brought him up there with me. I guess you guys used to work together. On the way home he said man you guys all seemed to speak a different language compared to most people. Because we all knew so much about the inner workings of sleds.

Thanks everyone. :)

Kimpex offers a complete package of them to do the front end. Surely someone not far from you carries Kimpex.

Pretty sure I can get kimpex stuff from Dennis Kirk. Is Kimpex a good name though? I seem to remember some kimpex clutch rebuild kits that werent so great back in the day.

For sure you have to be aware of any aftermarket part, but the Kimpex bushings are fine. Bushings are identical to stock. Remember, Soucy makes some parts for OEM's, and there may be some ties to Kimpex.
