I read horror stories about studs ripping through the front cooler and toasting the motor. I'm wondering if there is any good way to protect the cooler or an indicating system out there to warn of coolant loss? Maybe a pressure sensor type thing like the oil system? I know there is a coolent over temp light but with no coolant that's not going to register anything. I'm guessing it takes a matter of about a minute to burn up the motor once the coolant has all leaked out.

I had this happen to me last year and I will tell you this no matter what anyone tells you do not install studs not recommended by the manufacturer Namely 1.45s or bigger I went from the shorter to bigger ones cause I heard of alot using them and bam cooked the motor. Dealer here in Maine said never go that big its not worth the risk Lesson learned!!!!!
