I have a 07 phazer fx and it is sucking snow in all around the front end and its getting into the steering and freezing so i cant steer. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and what they did to fix it.

Common problem in deep snow for Phazer. Only remidy is to thaw out sled and seal all gaps with large amounts of black silicone.
I had the same problem. Mine froze one night and the boots popped off while sitting in the garage! Found out they are held on by plastic rivets. I now pop them off and just dig the snow out. Seems to work fine.
I will have to do this again today before we take it out.

I took mine in for that recall. They said it did not need it. Not sure what the real story is there. Had to dig them out this morning. I then spray them with WD40. Helps.

Anyone else getting snow/ice in the airbox along with the frozen steering issue?
Get the skins float plate, It will cure all your problems. It keps the snow from being forced into everything.

you can also get it from parts unlimited. I have one on mine along with the front and rear bumpers. works awsome

I noticed Royal Distributing sells them, they're about $30 bucks cheaper than what other places are selling the Skinz for. Not sure if that means it's a better deal or just a cheaper productphazerkid said:
