I have an 06 Apex with the Ulmer air box mod...had to go up to 15 to get rid of the bog. Likes to come out around 10000 and slide up to 10700-10800 but will only pull that on about the 3rd 1000-1500ft pass. Will only pull around 10500 first pass....I'm thinking lean??? I do not have an wide-band to check the air/fuel ratio...would like to hear from the guys on the site that do and what they have found.

Other day installed the dynojet fuel controller and ignition module set up from Ulmer. It was -30C, had to change the c0 back to 0 or the sled would not rev up, thus definitely getting more fuel off idle.

Went out and did some passes 1000-1500ft....seemed to be much stronger on the bottom but did not pull anymore top end than without the controller and ignition module. Allen said that you do not have to add fuel to the top even with the air box mod and the ignition module. What have you guys found doing this and were these add ons noticeable.....I was expecting to see gains on the top mile per hour....also the revs did not go any higher, still pulled 10800.

If the fuel ratio is fine with all the above then I will have to see somehow just what has been mapped into my fuel and ignition controller. Perhaps this wkend I will do some passes with all the above, then go back to stock other than the air box mod and see how things compare.

Hey guys, someone out there must have something to say. Did everyone on this site find way more hp after adding the controller and ignition module?

I would think you should pull more r's with the ignition module and PC111. I would try changing the fuel back and forth on top and see if you pick up more rpm and top speed.

I'm pulling 11,000 rpms with the only additions being the PowerCommander and IgnitionModule. My previous top rpm was 10,600. I've pulled to plugs and they look perfect.

Well, guess I'll go back to the drawing board, try it stock and go from there. Mine didn't pick up any rpm on the top but much better on the bottom, no hesitation whatsoever.
