The MTX does not come with piggyback shocks. They come with a standard KYB shock with 1.7 kg springs. I kept the standard shocks but 2.5 kg springs on to help stiffen it up and keeping it from diving.

This sled will not be about top end. It is a mountain sled and will stay setup that way with 20/40 gearing with the 3.0 pitch 2.25" lug track.

Keep the pics coming, looking forward to have a closer look at your turbo kit as the project moves forward.

Looks good. You don't lower the compression, right?

We do not change the compression on our Stage 1 kit. We will be testing a larger turbo with lowered compression for the FX Nytro when we get snow on the ground for Stage 2!

sounds good to me...without lowering compression, these turbo installs would be an ease... I'd be interested to see how one of these kits performed agains the others with lowered compression and higher boost levels...Would be faster of the line and through the trees I guess....
Thanks, Bull

The installation of the turbo kit is very simple. You have to drill one hole out bigger and drill one new hole to mount the turbo. Then you drill the hole for the charge tube to come through the front. Otherwise no other modifications are needed.
A few more pics of cutting the running boards pretty much completely off and then reattaching the Better Boards and also cutting, heating, and bending the outside running board grip to match the new running boards!

A little more progress made! Has been slow going as I haven't been able to put the phone down much lately!
Running boards all finished up!
New Powder Claw track & heavy duty torsion springs!
Charge tube and turbo mounting bracket set into the tunnel but not fully mounted!
Needing to enlarge one hole and measure and drill hole for other turbo mount bracket to bolt up!

A few more pictures of turbo parts be installed. Still waiting on intercooler and then the sled will get buttoned up!
Modification of one rivet in the heat shield and also drilling one hole out to accept a bolt and one hole for other side of turbo mounting plate.
Dynojet Power Commander & Ignition Module installed
After tig welding some aluminum pieces back on the tunnel so it doesn't hurt your hands when you grab it back there when you're stuck!
