Gas mileage poll on the RS Series??

do the Vectors get much better mileage then a 2003 Viper ? I am thinking about getting one. Was there much difference in performance between the prototype Vector and the production model ? Gas has it 104.9 a liter here today.

Just a little update on that. Here in Ontario (Oshawa) 121.4/L

with my 2005 rage i would range anywheres from 18 to 20 mpg. i sold it with just short of 5000 miles

Only getting 12 (10 US) on my 06 still trying to figure out why. The 2 times I had it out it ran real good but got blown away at the pumps by a variety of 2 strokes. we were in the bush 80% of the time so we were not running very hard. If by "in the bush" you mean boon-docking, wilderness, powder heaven? That's probably your problem. sled has to work hard in the powder.

Well I have a 2005 Rage and from day ONE I have been getting 20/22 MPG. Also have a 2001 SXR 600 tripple, and a 1998 XTC 600 twin and they average 18/20 MPG. These sleds are stock all 3 have 6500 miles on them.

went for a long 600 mile ride last year. our 2008 rs vector ltx gt's averagered 19-20 every fill up. our 2010 rs vector ltx gt's averaged 18-20(not broke in yet) and last but not least....our 2001 ski-doo 500 averaged 14-16 mpg plus 3 liters of oil. safe to say you cant beat a yamaha for milage!!!! got close to 6000 km on the 2008's and not a problem yet!!!

6/7 km/L. But depends how I drive her. Got 250km on a tank before and also only got 180km to tank also. Mine is an 09 Venture TF

the first year and less than 300 miles 20+ looked like a good number. Now with over 1000 miles and various condition, my '10 Vector LTX GT averages 15 mpg. Not a lot better than my '06 Apex. Hey! It sure handles umpteen tiimes better, that makes it a winner for me.

In 1200 miles on my 2011 Vector GT I have averaged 17.1 mpg with a worst of 16.14 on the first tank and a best of 18.1 on the second tank so those 2 tanks most likely not filled up the same. I'm careful now to fill up the same amount and get 17 -17.8 each and every time.

Very consistent.
