$4.09 per gallon for 93 octane and 3.89 for 87. They say it will be 5.00 by summer. I also have no doubt this great country will be ruined if we don't get Obama out of office!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you compare your income in sweden, with the income you would have doing the same job in the us, maybe the price isnt so bad?

Just sayin.

Dont get me wrong, I totally agree with you.
The prices are way to high, and they are even higher here in Norway.

But its worth it, right? ;)!

Not to get to political here (I didn't start it) but with the US having the cheapest gas of all developed democratic countries its quite amusing to se blame given to the guy in charge.. only oil producing dictators have lower prices and that's just to keep the people from realizing everything else sucks and do an uproar... Just saying..

I'm no fan of high gasprises in any way but with demand increasing (china and india) and limited (to some unknown extent) that's just the way it usually goes..

On topic
Good to have a Yamaha with these prices, kawasaki just introduced an Eco bike engine, should se that in sleds for the 2014 models...

Paying 1.35/L for 91. Since Obama was elected, we have seen a low of 0.98/L and a high of 1.68/L.
Thats 3.70/gal to 6.40/gal for hitest.
Could be lots worse.

Gas prices

I agree with farbeyond. I see more than enough politics on TV. Don't need it here. I hope the moderator presses the no politics button.

And it's been pressed! All posts with political content will be removed.

Ok, let's try it this way. It's just under $4 here in Michigan. About 3 years ago I was paying right around $2 a gallon. I don't understand how this can be?? I have read the papers and listened to the news and both say we have a surplus of oil because of the mild winter and travel is down big time. Most oil on hand in over 10 years. I have also read that we (the US of A) are now producing more of our own oil to the point of something like 65% with the majority of the 35% coming from Mexico and Canada. So if this is true, what's going on??
