Hey myyammi, why are u droping down to the 8 tooth,it will make your angle worse than yammis already are. I dont think unless you are going to a 2" lug height on your 136 u need to drop down,oh well if u do it will gear u down quite a bit,i think,so might want to add a 37 or 36 bottom if u can get one and add a 25 or bigger for the top, good luck,i am trying to find out if a 10 tooth will put me to close for 1.075 studs, and how much front torque arm clerance i will have,so i can improve my top end w/less attack angle to the skid frame.

myyamaha, if you are worried about hitting the tunnel when studding your 1.25" track, simply add more protection to the existing tunnel protectors. I have learned from others that all you need to do is go out and buy two 6ft aluminum strips of 1" wide x 1/4" thick and use them to add to your existing tunnel protectors and front heat exchange protectors. Check out the post titled "Ripsaw 136" with studs" post. It got a little side-tracked but it explains what others have done to build up the tunnel protectors so that they can run the 1.325" studs with the 1.25" track.

I'll be doing the same thing. Adding studs to the ripsaw track and moding the tunnel protectors. Does anyone know if you can add the aluminum stock tunnel protectors without removing the drivers? I don't have the new sled yet so I have no idea how much room I have to work with.

It will depend on how you mount the new alum. strips to the existing tunnel protectors. If you rivot them onto it, you may run into a problem getting the rivot gun to fit up in there. Also, if you are wanting to add protection to the front heat exchanger protectors, then you will definitely need to drop the track and the drivers.
