2012 MCX Turbo Apex
Well I'am putting a MCX 200 kit on my 12 128" Apex. I have the Turbo mounted, pre cooler in with the tunnel protector fabed and in. Skid is back in and only a couple things left to button up in the rear. It was a challenge to get enough stud clearance but I think we got it. Need a couple things from Ulmer racing and than i can hook everything up under the hood.
Every one says these kit's are the way to go? Wasn't sure after dealing with the pre cooler and tunnel protector! I am told the worst is done though.

trouble free, turn the key and ride.....

Get fuel and boost right, check oil and coolant..... run for ever......

That's what I want to hear!
What do you mean by get fuel right? So far every one has said the fuel box is set and if AFR is not right it needs to get sen't in for repair? Hope it's good and the rest should not be a problem. What sled and kit do you have and how many Miles?

Where did they have you mount the fuel pump?
For the 200 kit the stock pump is used and from what I hear it's good for 8lb max.

On the 290 kit it looks like they mount the pump across the front of the delta box on the motor side.

I know the older ones they were mounting it up on frame for headlight and that was causing problems. just wanted make sure they mounted it down on frame.

warning boost is highly addictive try a little next thing you'll want more
seriously as long as you run good premium fuel you won't have any problems friend ran one for a year until he upgraded no problems except the corners come up too fast

So your saying I will need to learn a new level of self control? LOL

You will be craving the 290 kit next season, lol:) I did a 270 kit and my Nytro and I could not be any happier...

Excellent! Everything is on and up and running, just need to mount gauges, tuck and tie hoses and wires. Oh! And wait till next winter to dial in clutching and ride it. I'am hoping 220hp will be enough for trail! LOL

Hahahahaha the hardest part is the wait part LOL
Congrats on the New boost addiction.

Thanks RX! need to change gearing and do clutching and hope I can just ride with out head aches. Noticed a stumble when blipping the throttle on the stand, they are telling me that is normal on the stand and will be much less noticeable on the snow. Time will tell! Think I will clean it up again and stare at it for the summer. LOL

That was my experience with my 290. Not an issue out on the snow.

Well Done. You got it done in short order.
