going crazy trying to decide

The more I look, the more I like the SE version better. I'm in the same boat as you justinator, considering a longer track, however I am happy with my current shorty. I think staying shorter in the track dept will help me corner even quicker, despite how good the design is on the new 144.

The SE version also has reinforced arms and rails, and seeing that I'm a big guy, more strength means a great deal to me. A larger 3-way clicker shock in the rear also has my attention too.

I really think Im gonna go with the xtx. I wish it had a little more adjustability in the rear suspension like the rtx and even more like the se but I think it will be alright with the longer track and bridging effect. This past weekend my friends wife took off on my rtx so I jumped on her rev600 renegade and it was sooo smooth over the stutters. I have ridden the rev shorty they have too and it rides very well but still not as comfy on those stutters like the renegade. I think I will order the blue se windshield and swap the handguard for white ones cause I like that color combo better and put a 10 gallon tank on and call it good. Still have a few weeks to decide but the one thing I hate is that if I spring order a sled I will have a really long summer!

The clickers on the RTX isnt that big of a deal.... I have mine at full open because the valving is so bad it hurts like hell if i run full stiff (low vs highspeed dampening and what the clickers adjust.. I bet you have read something about it so ill let it go here).. You still have clicker on the rear shock... Thats all you will ever need...

does the rear shocks on the xtx both have ressy's? one adjustable one not?

i was at the dealer the other day and was looking at the 08s just ebcause, and i noticed the 2 ressys that surprised me.
