I hit untracked fresh grooming last week. Smooth fun! The track you see was mine going in.

Our area as usual, didn't get much snow again this season, and our usual 1.25 hours of trailering to that special area, was much the same, no base not much snow but plenty of mud and rocks, and searching for a trail ,to turn it on a bit was short lived! Have been watching all club reports in my State O' Maine, hoping to trailer to get to some of what you are showing. And, we found it this week in the county, and to our surprise, the motels, trails, and eateries were not packed with sledders as usual! Good for us but not for businesses that rely on the sledder crowds!! But anyway, the County did not disappoint! Trails were simply awesome everywhere we ventured to, from our Caribou Maine hotel! Trails were perfect and well groomed right from our Hotel parking lot! I'm still smiling from ear to ear, just knowing that we timed it perfect! PS: I also like the not so perfect trails as some would call them. You Know, the ones that form during the warmer days and cooler nights, more frozen snow or ice which make for needing scratchers, but make for a very quick pace with not much throttle! I surely hope to find some of those also before the end of season is here!!

The Tetons have seen 360 inches of snow this year but we do not ride there. The pictures area have had about 200 some inches. But we have been on a temps roller coaster all year.

Those pics look like it was set-up pretty firm. Any cooling issues? Sure looks sweet!

Your area certainly provides for great snowmobiling, and so very picturesque!

My riding buddy and I always joke about the great scenery we miss, because of how we enjoy high speed trails through beautiful country that we fly through on our tuned winders!!

The snow was just loose enough to keep things cool. I was back up there yesterday after a bit of new snow and watched a guy out run a big release on the steep side of that gully. I go around the corner and here is one of his friends in the middle of the trail with his rolled sled on top of him and cannot get it off by himself. I ride up there for a couple of hours full tilt and I am wasted when I am done. I guess at 72 I should be glad I can ride that long!
