Dan was an awesome personality. Never met him personally but he always came across as such a genuine and all round good guy when interviewed and when riding. Seemed like a great person and family man. The old footage of him ripping around on the mountain max was part of what made me stick with Yamaha sleds all this time. One of the true pioneers in the extreme hill climbing world. Life is short. Ride hard.
