How are the east coast U.S.A members doing with all this snow I hear about on the news? I know we got a foot of snow over the wknd here in Saskatchewan and it slowed everyone down that owned a car but if you had a truck no prob. I will say that the foot of snow made everything tough around here but I heard 3' or more of snow and more on the way in two days? Makes a guy feel vindicated now since there was probably no snow there to begin with and now the only way to get around is probably just that....on a sled!

I'm in Western NYState, We have had 13 decent days of riding. Some have had a little more than that, but they are the ones getting the trails shut down permenatly. Not enough snow base, the farmers are bitchin cause people are ripping up their fields. Ya got all kinds of yahoos who don't care! except for themselfs maybe?

The people that are getting the snow don't have any trails... Maine hasn't had any good snow in I don't remediable how long... Last time I heard we were already 7 inches below normal here in extreme southern Maine

The most snow on the east coast is in The District of Criminals.

I wouldn't own a snowmobile if I were 200ft more south, always made me chuckle on these forums to see guys in PA etc. ironically they have the last laugh. just hard to believe they have trails and grooming etc

Southwestern Pa has 2 1/2 to 4 ft of new snow since last Friday. They were finally getting the parking areas cleaned and were to start grooming on Thursday. Unless you live on the mountain you have to trailer and find someplace to park.
But a new round of snow over night and high winds today has put all that on hold. No vehicles with trailers are permitted on the Turnpike. Reports of 6-7 foot drifts in the mountains.
Plus still about 50,000 people w/o power since Friday night. Originally about 150,000. Got our power back Sunday evening.

Im between Syracuse and Binghamton NY just 26 miles east of I-81 and we don't have enough snow to ride on. Haven't had enough for about 3-4 weeks now!! Our only option right now is to go North to tug Hill but they haven't been gettin any aditional snow either and by now there trails are trashed!! It would be nice to get something this time around---supposed to get 5-8 by tonight but I know how that works!!! The apex thinks it's on vacation this year!! LOL

Yea, East coast is the word for it. It is on the coast and more in the middle of the east coast rather than the north. I have a family member that got 30 inches last week ans is expecting another 20 today and they live in Maryland!!!! I am sure the riders in PA are happier than a pig in Shiot. I was hoping the storm today would take a more norther approach but not that lucky. I think this is one of the worst seasons in a long time on tug hill.
sure wish we got some of the white stuff here in CNY.

Not to brag or anything, but over here in midwest Wisconsin we have been riding since December 18th with aproximatly 2 weeks of closed trails during some rain storms we have recieved. Having that said it is pretty sad it took me until just last night to roll over 2000 miles on the year. Think Snow (or head to the mountains out west)!!!

Here in Ottawa region it hasn't snowed since New Year's!...a few "cm" hear and their but nothing major, we did get over 50mm of rain! a couple of weeks ago, Our trail system is "LIMITED" some bare section in feilds and railbed's are mostly GRAVEL!
I've only got 1000 kms so far and usually have 5k plus at this time of the year...I'm seriously thinking of getting rid of my sled and going ATV!
