I did already, I just replaced the original with the new one. That way everybody doesn't need to go through this entire thread to get it.

Will this work used with lowrancne mapcreate software? The files are stored as "usr". Thanks J

Sorry for the delay getting back to you. I don't know the answer to your question, but I suspect that the answer is no. This is a Garmin *.gdb file.

I would try converting the .gdb file to .usr format using this site http://gpsvisualizer.com/gpsbabel/
I use it all the time!

No, not yet. I will add to it over the winter though.

The one I've been playing with is the snowmobile map from GPSQuebec.com.
Most of the trails, pouvouries and so on seem to be there if you display the necessary level of detail and zoom in.
Should make a welcome addition to the rides this year: it does autorouting from point to point using the sled trails, very nice if you're looking for the short way home...
