Update:
Sled has been in and out of the dealer now for 3 1/2 weeks. They've been in contact with tech service at Yamaha and still cannot figure out the issue. Starting to sound like an issue in the wiring harness somewhere or possibly a bad ecu. I talked to Yamaha customer service and sounds like I may be able to get a free extended warranty out of them for making me miss a good portion of riding so far this year.
