I had mine out for the first time on the 15th, I hit a rock that was under the snow. I have 3519.27 worth of damage. The rock was about twice the size of a helmet. I bent everything from the ski to the front frame. I got the insurance on Monday and killed it on friday. #$%&*

Parts are on order and hope to have it back for next weekend. Happy riding.

yep..hit a deer with one of mine..have not had it in yet for the estimate, but it rolled and went end for end. In the process fractured my clavicle! So the insurance did not total it?

Sorry to hear about that zook.Glad your okay.Suprised they didnt total it with that high of a quote.

Rolled mine and pined the throttle open for about five and half seconds I estimated, pretty much all the oil drained out. So after I filled it again and let it sit for and hour still wouldn't start so I took it in to find out that I burnt all the rods out and expired the engine. Luckily still had a week left on the warranty and yami corp was good to me and is re-building it right now. No one can figure out why the low oil sensor didn't shut it down. Diffinitely getting a lanyard kill switch installed.

Ah man... that sucks, you've been waiting a long time to get that thing in the snow. I guess your alright though, that's good.

Knock on wood... have had no incidents with mine, came close a couple of times.

Hey
Wow you hit a deer? Howdid you manage that?

A doe jumped out the woods in front of my Attak last year. My son was on it at the time. He was fine, but just look what happened to the Attak!

Sled was totalled and replaced.

Do you know how fast he was going? I always worry about deer running out in front of me.

We guess he was at about 65 mph. Thankfully we were on a trail that went down a road. The snow was getting thin as we were getting near lake Superior in the UP and the trail/road was icy. When the deer hit the road it fell allowing the left front of the sleds nose to impact the belly of the doe. (Thank God!) Had it been on it's legs it would have come up over the bars. The sled spun and rolled... the only plastic piece that didn't shatter was the tail light. The deer was split apart.

I now back down on the throttle when there is the possibility of deer in the woods. I really does not matter how sweet the trail is, keep the open throttle runs for the lakes guys....only after you have made a pass to see that they are safe.

WOW that thing really got messed up,glad your son was ok. I went riding on my old SRX today, Forgot how much fun that sled was.

I hit my phazer into the back of my brothers skidoo..Those bumpers are not very strong...I guess rubben is racen when there is a four stroke trying to pass...go to team blue
