Thats just wrong!! at least you have another sled to ride.

Interesting,

Had to make an insurance claim because my ski ran itself into a piece of railroad track and bent the subframe, i was only going about 10 mph.

Unfortunately my warranty is in the US and I'm up in Canada.

Did the same thing. I installed a new 2010 frame over the summer with custom gussets welded in for added strength. I've taken some hard hits already this season and so far nothings bent. Several other Nytro owners have also reinforced their frames this season and up to this point I haven't heard any of them having issues. Maybe it's yearly yet but I still think If your installing a new frame it should be reinforced.

Yamaha, PM me if you'd like some help correcting this problem!

Welcome to the club :o| I have the updated 2010 subframe and I managed to bend it aswell without hitting anything.
Mine went out of whack without hitting anything but I was told thats impossible. Nice to know Im not the only 1. The new one that installed is custom beefed up and has been good ever since.

Do you have pics of the gussets that you have welded in,i wanna reinforce mine before putting it on....thxs

I replaced my subframe this past fall with Yamaha's latest part number frame. The only difference I noticed is both shocks now are slightly rearward off center of the A arms then the original subframe. Not sure if it means anything. But at least they are equal. Sled handles fine.

Yea, I noticed the same thing.

Well my frame is ordered from cycle parts at a low price of $410 + $56 shipping. That is good considering it was $900 here in canada.Man us canadians sure get the shaft with these companies...

Are they shipping it using UPS? If they are, be prepared for a bit of a shock when it arrives at the door as they charge ridiculous brokerage fees.

I always make sure that when ordering from the States to use USPS.

The box that the frame comes in is to big for USPS. I used USPS to ship a frame out West and had to reduce the size of the Yamaha box so that the frame just fit in. by doing this I was able to ship the frame for around $30.

My frame no issues yet and spindle bracing
