has anyone found anyone to do a a revalve job for our LE shocks

I wonder how hard it would be to revalve the QS3R 3 way clickers,we cant use setting 3 unless you are willing to jump a road. Heck even setting 2 can be to still for a lot of trails I ride.

Have you messed with the rebound settings much? it will affect your compression as well.

My sled rode like a lumber wagon the way it was setup from the factory. My front end rode like crap, the rebound was 16 turns out, I changed it to 8 and it made a huge difference. The sled used to buck me off the back on big jumps, I had to turn the rear skock rebound adjustment another 5-6 turns out and it seemed to solve that problem. Do small changes, write down what adjustments you are doing and you should be able to get it pretty bang on.

The QS3 is a gimmick IMO, 1 is too soft and 3 is too hard.

Pete the problem with revalving the Qs3 is it will effect all 3 positions. So 1 which is soft already may become unusable. The qs3 clicker is nothing more than a valve with a big hole for 1 a smaller hole about .040in for 2 and no hole at all for 3. The hole for 2 is a very very small drill size. So to have 3 be only slightly stiffer than 2 a smaller hole than 2 will have to be drilled in adjuster in correct position. About .020 in. With a jig and guide to position the drill. Still thinking about that. I don't even have a chuck in drill press capable of holding a drill that small.

I did the dsc also and it's night and day from stock qs3. Way better!

Steve, I an still waiting on my buddy, to see if he can get some drill bits. Smallest I have is a #60. He has a #80, which is .013 and a #77 which is .018. Getting a small enough chuck in a good drill press might be a challenge.

If you wrap your drill bit in electrical or masking tape they will work in a regular drill chuck. They do slip sometimes.

Wow,so steve,these shocks are not as great as we thought,not if there is such a tight valve stack,and most are unable to run click 3.

pete...send them directly to fox...100 bucks a shock recharge and revalve... and if you want to change to the 20 pos hi/lo they can do at that time also...think 90 bucks more? makes the shock very tunable in the right hands

Thanks steve,i guess this year coming,i may even leave my shocks just the way they were.Money is becoming an issue with many things now retired. I have a few things that need fixing first,than secondary things to work on. New track I have needs studs,big money item,new muffler big money item,new tune big money item,and the list could go on.

You can buy a minature drill chuck from mcmaster carr for 10 bucks.
It mounts into any standard chuck and allows you to drill small holes.
Mcmaster also has an incredible selection of drill bits

I wouldn't say that. Many of us use 3 everyday. Usually at end of day when trails are really whooped out and in a hurry! DSC replaces the 3 way clicker. It adjusts high speed and low speed separately so once you get it right you really shouldn't feel the need to ever have to adjust the shock again. Ever. That's what I have on my Evols and Axis. Love it but did take some time to get adjusted right. So many variables. Like they say Different strokes for different folks!
