Sorry if you guys have seen this before but am having trouble searching the forum. I am around 250lbs and would like to stiffen the rear end of my sled up. Can anyone provide part numbers for this. I looked on Yamaha micro fiche and saw a 8HA-47474-00-00 & 8HA-47473-00-00 but cannot find any specs for them. Please advice. Thanks

There is a thread on here somewhere about this. I was wondering the same thing a little while ago. The stock springs are 1300NM, you can get a set 1500NM, and a 2100NM set. Most likely the numbers you have are for 1300 and 1500. The 2100 are from the Apex if they don't show on the nytro micro. They tell me here they will fit.
I'm 230 with gear and opt to try a set of X-clicks from Hygear. They put more preload on the stock springs. I have not used them yet so I hope for the best.

- 2008 Nytro MTX 45th
The way I understand it:
1300-Stock Nytro MTX - 8HA-47473-00-00
1500-Stock Apex MTX and Optional Nytro MTX - 8FS-47473-00-00
2100-Optional Apex MTX (which means they SHOULD fit the Nytro) - 8FK-47473-10-00
Those are the left side numbers. Change the 3 to a 4 for the right side numbers (need one of each).

I put on a set of X-clicks too ... but from the way she still sits on the shop floor ... I have my doubts they will make a big difference .... still cheap to try though ... better than $167 a side for springs ... just need some snow now.

I am 250 and put a set of the big boy apex torsion springs on my 08 nytro mtx, it made a huge difference the only thing I want to do is change the front skid spring. I feel that when I trail ride the nytro mtx the front bottoms out more than it should.

Oh no. I haven`t tried my X clicks yet. Hope they will help. I was thinking of trying the spring spacers as well.G-ball said:I put on a set of X-clicks too ... but from the way she still sits on the shop floor ... My buddy was talking about some 1800 nm springs? Does anyone have a part number for those if they exist?
