Helmet choices

hey all just looking to see what everyone is running for a helemet? 2 years ago i had just come off a 509 open face with goggles i switched to the delta r3 last year. The Helmet was very nice and i liked almost everything about it other than its very drafty. Just looking to see what everyone has expierence with, thinking of going modular this year?

If yours is 2 yrs old it's an original Delta R3 there was an available free update kit last year to correct the shield plug and shield wiring issue and it came with a new longer chin/neck skirt. I got mine installed right at the 509 booth at the Milwaukee Snow Show. You might be able to contact them and see if it's still available. Almost to air tight after having an open face for 15 yrs .

No it is definitely the 2.0 i made sure before purchasing... the neck extensions on them isnt worth a dam in my opinion.

I'm going to try the ckx Titan this year! A couple of my buddy's have them and seem to like them.

Looking at some of these new modular helmets with the shield and visor set up. It looks like the visor is up too high to use it to block the sun.
The castle/scorpion helmet I have the visor is useless so I run without it.

That's the same helmet I have been eyeballing all summer. Would like to try on . Hopefully someone has them at the water/grass drags in Epping this year.

Watching this thread for the info. I also have worn the moto cross style helmet for the last ten years. Having to wear glasses was a hassle last year with the goggle setup. The modulars sure look nice soo many to choose from tho.

My buddy struggles with glasses. Can't even tell what sled is his with out! He's worn the ckx Titan for over a year now. Seems to like it , goggles fit over glasses well. I've also been wearing moto cross style since 2008 and think this is a good transition with available heated goggle's.

This will be the 3rd season wearing the ckx titan and I couldn’t be happier, never a fogging issue in any temps even down to -30 c.

Anybody know of a full face helmet that works well with glasses ? I've been struggling with this for years
