Pulling off some very stuck coils and one broke off inside the well, right at the gasket seam between the valve cover and the head. Anyone have any tricks or tips as to how to extract this thing? Thanks! Greg

since it's already broken you might try and put a deck screw into it and pull on it with some pliers.

I wound up drilling out on either side of the center in the ceramic insulation with a small hammer drill bit, grabbing it with needle nose pliers and it popped right out.

that is part of why i always coated the coils on mine with dielectric grease when i re assembled them.
