my rage has left me stranded a couple of times and with no pull start that is no fun! so i replaced the battery gave it a full charge and placed it in sled ran fine for a couple of days started right up no problems. went for a ride stop to take a break and sled would not start back up. i had to jump it. is there a charging system on the sled? i have no service manual and cant seem to find one (charging system) any where. any suggestions or comments would be great. im going crazy and i like to work on these sleds myself i dont want to take to the shop. thanks alot
I have nothing to offer on the charging system but I do know that in a pinch, you can pull start with a strap around the primary. I've seen it done here somewhere in a post. Sorry not much help but until you figure it out, carry a strap for emergency starts.
I'm like you, never bring it to dealer unless they'll warranty or i've exhausted all other resources.
Good luck!
