Hi I am really starting to regret buying this sled as I have had nothing but problems with it Scince I bought it. Ok, here goes I bought the sled knowing that I had to put a stator in it, it turned out I had to pull the engine to do the job... So I put the new stator in and everything seemed fine(used the old gasket don't know if it matters) but then I turned off the sled and there was an odd sucking noise. Originally I thought the noise was coming from the oil tank but after looking at it it is coming from the breather hose inside of the airbox. If I take the dipstick out of the oil tank and run it there is no sucking noise when I shut it off, also the oil is foaming up. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated thanks

Are you sure you have the hoses hooked up correct to the check valve assembly?

pretty sure its normal mine makes the same noise and they told me it was normal. I have a 05 vector.

Ok, thanks I just wanted to make sure because I just bought the sled

O6 Vector, same sucking noise for a few seconds after shutting it off. Most likely oil passing thru that valve assembly in the airbox. Totally normal.

Like wise mine just had a stator put in it as well.. makes the sucking noise after shutdown..

My 2010 carbed venture has a noise after shutdown since new. Just the oil finishing circulating
