help with a big head!!!

hey guys, need a little help. my brother in law loves to ride the yammies but cant find a helmet to fit his big head. the biggest he has found so far is an hjc 3x. we had to pull out the inner liner to fit....and it's still real tight. does anyone know if there's a 4x out there anywhere

Different brands sizes don't necessarily align. HJC tend to be very small such that an XL may be equivalent to a SMALL of another brand. I have an XL HJC and its tighter on my head than a medium privately branded helmet I have from canadian tire. He really has to just go somewhere that carries a lot of different brands and try them all on.

thanks for the quick responses,,we've gone all over and tried on all types of helmets..the largest (or best fitting) thus far is that hjc 3x

Polaris helmets run big.. a Xl is more like a 3xl

I have a buddy that has A/C... he bought one of those A/C helmets with the sunvisor, full face, fits him good and he has a big head... my 2xl hjc wont even begin to fit him......
