Before you try anything else you'll definitely want to take some hot soapy water and some type of rubbing pad (scotch brite works great) and clean all that black rubber off the clutches
You can see the 3 in your pic. Other end of spring not shown must be in the hole adjacent to the #1 . Remove the 3 nuts and hold helix so we know where other end is. Watch how it comes apart. Just loosen the nuts evenly. Nothing will hurt ya. Put brake on and get it off.

Ok I'm away from the sled right now. But I'll try that. And I should switch back to the stock secondary? What difference will it make?

I agree with putting the stock secondary spring at 6-1 or 6-2...also try spinning the secondary clutch with the track off the ground and the belt removed and see if it's rolling with no binding like a bearing going out...that's a lot of rubber on the clutch's. you don't have a hole in your side panels or them installed in correctly? Because snow getting on the them will cause all kinds of issues also. And you may wanna try a new belt the other one has definitely lost some I'd say.I'm pretty sure it's at 6-2 right now

What difference is there with the stock spring compared to the one I have on now?

Should be stiffer and less likely to let the belt slip in the secondary. What difference is there with the stock spring compared to the one I have on now?

Actually I think its so stiff it doesn't allow secondary to shift out. Not sure but I could not get it to work for me. Was fine until wide open long runs. Went back to stock spring ,gearing and no more issues.

93 mph the other night and my speedo is reading low....how low? Not sure hope to get it reflashed soon. Last year in perfect conditions I could normally get 99-101 out of it.

I believe you're right, I think it's stiffer than stock but I also couldn't get it to work right, as soon as I'd do any long pulls I could feel my left foot getting hot.

I know mine did not like it either... it was fine stock but as soon as I started modifying it, I could'nt get it to work anymore...feels softer on the bench but it is longer also.
