I have the updated Yamaha rollers in my toolbox. I’ve been running the cat torlons for 3 seasons now. Just wondering if the updated Yamaha rollers are lasting?
Same here but i doubt theres much diff. I did notice a slight dimensional diff between the two.

Whatever Yamaha installed for warranty on my 17. 4000 miles and look like new. Up-dated Yamaha??

I have the updated Yamaha rollers in my toolbox. I’ve been running the cat torlons for 3 seasons now. Just wondering if the updated Yamaha rollers are lasting?
Updated Yamaha rollers are doing well actually. Haven't seen any issues with them at all.

From mile 1 I've run the rollers from Ulmer racing. They have held up very well and I have about 2700 miles on them so far. They definitely fit tighter than the stock ones and I believe are made by STM they are high quality in my opinion.

Cat rollers from 300 miles now over 2000. Just took apart clutches yesterday and all looks great so far.

2700 miles on updated Yamaha rollers and one of mine had a chip missing I now have the thunder products offering very few miles on them but seem to be working so far.

I read somewhere where you had said that by changing secondary rollers it really affected the weight in the primary. Was that from the cat torlons to another brand?Updated Yamaha rollers are doing well actually. Haven't seen any issues with them at all.

From stock rollers to Hi-Torque.
I'm back revisiting the Hi-Torque rollers with an very stiff driven spring and less helix. Tried a Dalton Tan the other day wrapped to 60 on the 39-35 and its not near enough spring for the big tunes and the hi-torques. You can see it accelerating on the logs, hit about 103 and then drop a couple MPH and RPM with slippage in the secondary. End up with black on both clutches. Running the Cutler Silver/White now again and back to the straight 35. Measures 165-335 on my scale wrapped at 9-1 with the 35 helix. 9-2 measures 175-360. The dalton tan measured 120-270 wrapped to 60 on the 39-35 and just can't keep a grip on the belt on the topend. It's just no where near enough spring for me over 100 MPH. Less than about 315-325# up top I get belt slippage up top on actual trail conditions on 8DN with big tunes. Hi-Torque rollers make it worse and needs more spring and less helix.

Within thousands of the Stockers, fit on the pin is tighter however.

I have since taken my cat torlons out and installed oem updated rollers and imo they're tough to beat.
