HH Clutching help

I have the HH Stage 1. I have been having problems with my belt squeaking when I hit the throttle after hard breaking into a corner. I had the silver secondary spring wound at 6-2, in which I changed to 6-3. This seemed to help but I feel I have lost rpm's up top. Is this possible? I used to hit the trottle and it would climb to 9800 quick then move to 10,200-10,300 fairly quickly and stay there. Now when I hit it off the line it quickly revs to 10,200 then seems to back off to 9800 and then labors to gain again. I never had enough distance to bring it back to 10,200.

What should I do?

Thanks

If you were running the sled on a warm overcast day the low barometric pressure will cause the sled to under rev & run poorly.

It was about 29 F and overcast...So what your are saying is that would be characteristic for those conditions? How should the sled rev in ideal conditions? Should I go back to 80 wrap? I always thought if I added more twist to the secondary I woud gain RPM's up top.

thanks

wet heavy snow will cause this also. no traction then it will have to work to pull the sled, ride the sled and check to see how hot the clutch's are getting, u may be sliping the belt just alittle(talking about the squeaking)
