Which one is better guy's? I am running 7 pounds with a S/C with stock compression and love it for my application, but might be rebuilding the motor and would like some suggestions on which way to go. Its my understanding you lose a little power by going with the low compression pistons and 10 pounds of boost. Give me your thought's.

It will take about 1 lb of boost to make up for the lost compression, should not be too noticable with a supercharger since there is boost available instantly.
It will show up in lost fuel mileage though.

It would be great if someone had some actuall dyno sheets from a supercharged sled at 7 pounds, and then at 10 pounds with the low compression piston's ! Maybe some of you shop owners could look through some of you're record's and see if you have done any of these sled's set up in this way. Just a thought.............

10 psi with 10-1 would be slower but safer I wouldnt do pistons for 3 psi..

I agree I would just stack 2 gaskets.

last 2 years I ran 10psi blower on a stock motor RX-1 no pistons or gaskets and no trouble but I always used race fuel 110 straight . I think that one is as fast or faster than my Apex running 15psi and 10:1 pistons. The RX had 2000 miles of total abuse and the guy I sold it to drives the same and it still runs perfect
