OK I don't have many pics but I can say the kit was complete, easy to install, (even with limited instructions) and VERY Bright!
I am unsure of how vibration will affect these bulbs but what the heck!! In the pic below the XP Tn'T has the lights on HIGH beams and the FX Nytro has HID on low beams. When I tried to take a pic of both sleds on HIGH beams the HID on the FX Nytro freaked out the digital camera and ruined the pics. (Let me just say it's REAL BRIGHT!!!)
These bulbs are 6000K as the lower number is actually brighter and less blue color. You can still see some blue tint but it's amazing how the HID in the FX Nytro make the XP Tn'T lights (which are VERY bright themselves) look yellow in real life. The wireing is all but invisable to the unsuspecting eyes, those that know will see a little black box in front of the battery and might go...Hmmm?. Even the 2 ballasts are hidden quite well.

The wiring is straight forward! You use one of your two stock headlight plug-ins, (securing the other to keep it clean and not bouncing around) a positive and 2 grounds, 3 plug ins for each bulb. Yes I have both HIGH and LOW beam HID headlights. Secure the relay and then tywrap the additional wiring. Took less than an hour and I located a couple places to mount the ballast before I landed on the final spot. (in the second pic the tail light was unplugged to install the Lead dog helmet light plug, nothing to do with the HID kit)

Here is the link to the kit I used but some may be better or worse BUT I hate the additional shipping charges from these guys! (it did ship very quick BUT....)

I'll keep you guys up to date as to how they hold up during the season. Everything is water proof and I used dielectric grease in the connections.... So we'll see!

Thanks for sharing. I've been considering a BiXenon pod for the sled....

I already run a Hella HID projector pod on my ATV with a Hella FF1000 halogen high beam. You shouldn't have any issues with durability. The low beam is UNREAL on the trail... no one enjoys riding in front of me because it causes a shadow to be cast in front of them over their lights.

How about a shot at night. Not into the beam, but from between the sleds looking forward. You could even take a photo sitting on both sleds shining both beams.

YamiSmurf,

It's been raining almost every night. I'm away from the sleds right now, but I will get those pics for you guys buy next week.
The 6000K HID bulbs shown here have a little bit more of a blue tint than the HID headlights in our 06 Saleen Mustang. I'm kind of excited to see the crisp white light in the snow!

bjowett,
Yes that very will may be a down side to these lights. And refectors will be very bright eluminating back at me!

JJwickenhauser,
Looking at your avatar I would guess you know much more about electricity than me and most! You very well may be right. I just went down to the better local electical outlets and ask for a tube of stuff to keep moisture out of the connections... Never read the tube just assumed! Thanks I'll check. lol

kinger,
I'll even give a report of how my riding buddys like or dislike them as I'm sure some of them will have something to say!

whats all that smoke in the air :jump: skeeter control eh

can you post a pic of the kit or the manufacture's part # as the ebay link does not work for me.
can i also ask what you paid for the kit?

they are on ebay for $100-120 for a bi-xenon kit (hi and low) if you dont get the bi-xenon you will lose high and only have lows.

I think I'm going to get a kit, night driving is too dangerous for me at the speeds we carry, plus the brighter I can make a opposing corner for a guy on teh other side to see the better. My plan is to aim teh lows really low so as to not blind oncoming traffic and bump to highs when not passing anybody.

I'm searching for the easiest kit to mount some of the ballasts are HUGE and be hard others are slim. Some kits have one bulb that slides in and out for high low, others have a solenoid to move a shield to adjust the aim. All claim to be the best.

This is the one I'm leaning towards:

What is the consensus on the best color temp for snowmobile use? I'm leaning toward the 8000° ones.

I like that these ebay ones have free shipping. Anyone else have experience with these from Dealtime321?
