Houghton/Hancock Ride!!!

Yes, the hotel is the Ramada.

YamaCat, Myself, The Swamp Monster, and Santa Clause rode up to Copper Harbor today, did 180 miles or so.
(FYI Did you know Santa Clause rides a Barney??? lmao)
Trail 134 was incredible!
Perfectly groomed, just the right amount of hills & twists... Wrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrooooorrr!!!

Then there was trail 133 to Gay.
THAT was a disaster! Hasn't been groomed once this year.

The snow is pretty good on the west side of the peninsula, and a bit thinner on the east side.
Lot's of great riding all over though!
Most has been groomed & groomed well!

Awww Terry!!! You're not gonna make it???

Gerbie, better fill me in... lol

Rock :-o

Hey guys!

I was looking at the web cam from M&M and saw a bunch of yami guys heading out.

There was one guy tipped on his side, figured it was Rock.....just kidding buddy!

Have a great time guys and girls!

Not gonna make it this time Rock, even tho I would love to be up there right now!

Dude!

The trails were awesome today!
A few water holes, yet nothing too major.

Wasn't my sled, haven't broken a thing! lol

You would love it!

Have to get Nick & YamaCat to post pics, they have plenty!

Conditions were fair to awesome!
Really depended what trail you were on, but none were terrible by any means.
Over-all, think we had a really good ride! :rocks:

Friday we rode down to Pat's in Greenland, great ride down.
We took trail 13 on the way back, found a Large mudhole where the groomer had broken through & gotten stuck.
Worked our way around it and stuck around to watch the fun as others crossed it. lol
Was great entertainment! :drink:

Before & after the mudhole, trail 13 was a Blast!!!

Rode up to Copper Harbor & back Sat.

My group had to leave early Sun am, we had an 11-12 hour drive home.
Mr Sled & a Bunch of others were able to stay over Sun & some Monday.
Heard their ride was good yesterday, sure they can fill you in more themselves.

Stories... Hmmmm..

I met a Swamp Monster & Santa!
The Swamp Monster even led the ride for a while, and Santa rounded up stragglers.
Must say, Santa has a serious bunch of misfit Elves though... ;):D
Lmao

(Think about that for a sec...
The ride was led by the Swamp Monster, and Santa was the clean-up crew...
What a bunch of mis-fit toys!! LMAO)

Steve was giving away free GPS's, if you were lucky enough to follow him & had a keen eye...

Gerbie once again proved that he is King of Sneaky Fast! lol

T-bag loves her new ride, she does very well on it!

We had 2 women in the group & both are great riders, one is even a very new rider & she kept up well.
Impressive. ;)!

Over-all, my stomach & cheeks hurt from laughing, that says ALOT!!! :rocks: :rocks: :rocks:

Again Tom, THANKS! :jump:

Great T Y Ride

Well, the Houghton Ride was my first T Y ride, and it was one of the best sled trips I've had. Great group of people, and everyone had a good time.
I'm hooked on the Yamaha 4 stroke adventure. Really looking forward to the Jan. Munising ride.
I hope evryone is off to a good start for the season, and a Merry Christmas to all! :4STroke: ;)!
