First problem with engine 29000 km o7 vk pro. Engine has a miss, seems to be half decent when first starts up, then runs like #*$&@. 190 lbs of compression on all 3 cyl. Coils tested good on the workbench. Tried new gas and cleaned carbs. Any thoughts???

Bad coil? Heat from firing sometimes causes them to fail once warmed up but they work fine when cold. Bad explanation maybe but I have had vehicles run fine when cold and sputter and miss once warmed up. Changed coil they ran perfect after that.

Pulled the carbs a second time, stripped them down and gave them a better cleaning and blew them out with compressed air. Running like charm again !! Must have been dirt in there somewhere
