how many miles on your yamaha?

17,000+ miles on my 05 Vector ER. Stator left me stranded but other than the usual maintenance stuff, that's been it.
1,300 and counting on my 14 (new this year) Vector LTX and my death will likely prevent me from getting to 17,000 like my 05.

Nick Keller now has 90,000+ miles on his Vector. We are meeting up with him next week Thursday for the Snowball Cancer Challenge ride which is a 500 mile in one day charity ride for cancer.
If Yamaha has 1oz of CLASS they would deliver him a brand new sled when he hits 100,000 miles and beg him to do commercials for them.

2015 apex xtx loving it,577 awesome miles ...

05 RS Venture had a little over 20,100 miles when I traded in for an 11 RS Venture GT, I put 17,500 miles on that before I traded in this year on a 15 SR. Viper LTXDX, I have about 2000 on this one so far.

Great thing, both Ventures still had original spark plugs in them and the 05 had original hyfax!

I am keeping my fingers crossed the Viper gives the same trouble free mileage.

BigDog, I agree with you but, I am not sure that is going to happen. Just before he hit 50,000 two years ago he told us Yamaha went out and made him stop riding because they were affraid the engine would let go. They thought that would be bad PR. I said hell, put it out for everyone to read and then challenge every other mfr to match that feat. I am sure not one of them would have tried. Now that 4-stroke is nearing the 100,000 mark!!! He is going to park it for good between 99,000 and 100,000 in honor of his mother that passed away from cancer. I believe the milage he parks it at will represent the date she passed away some how.

I was there at Pat's when his odometer read 90,000 miles. Talked with him for awhile and then ran into him again out on the trail behind Pat's the next day. John Prusak was shooting photos for Snow Goer Magazine. He told us he will park it at 99,995 being his mom died in 1995. He never mentioned that Yamaha thought it would blow up but did say they wanted the machine when it had close to 40,000 miles or so and was willing to give him a new machine. He wasn't sure if they just wanted to test items on it, check engine wear or what. He just wanted to complete his mission and after that Yamaha hasn't had much to do with him.

12,200 miles on my (like new) 07 Apex when I sold it a couple of weeks ago, it still looks great and has the original battery and track......looking forward to Wed. Feb. 25th when the new 2016 line-up is displayed so I can decide what to buy next......time will tell

I'll be finishing out the season on my 2 sons sleds, one is an 09 Nytro with 6,100 miles on it and the other is a 12 Vector with the new power steering that has 1,400 miles on it......I can't wait to buy my new sled for next season after we see what Yamaha is going to offer on the 25th of Feb.

14,480 miles on my 2010 nytro and still riding all day!
