I got 17.6 to a Cdn Gallon on my 2006 Apex GT on Saturday. Trails were hard and fast though so mileage was reaaly good. Also had a buddy with me who only rides once a year so I was not pushing real hard.

I used to have a Warrior, and when running both sleds in the same conditions the Warrior/ RX1 usually got 1.5 mpg better mileage than the Apex. Horsepower takes fuel and the apex has about 12 % more horsepower and burns about 12 % more fuel.

Awseome sled. You will enjoy an Apex. I love my Supercharged RX1 but I only ride it about 20 % of the time when I want to put my 2 stroke buddies on the trailer. The bulk of my riding is on my Apex GT.

Regarding your Houlton sled deal, I might be able to get you something as good or better here in N.B. If you want to talk, PM me your number and I will give you a call. [I am not a dealer. Just thinking I might sell my Apex GT]

Normal trail riding I typically see 15-17mpg. Busting through fresh powder or ditch banging I've seen as low as 10.

consistently over 16 mp(US)g, but that's not hammering the gas very much. I wouldn't trade a couple mpg to go down in hp or back to carbs!

got an average of 18.5 all weekend and 134 on speedo on hard rrbed ,gotta love the 06 rtx without reverse

07 Attak gets 13-15 miles per gallon USA gals & run pretty hard. I'm happy with my Yam mileage.. my bud with doo XP 800r only gets 9-10 & he pours oil into the thing every 80-90 miles ..what a pig 2s. My 2nd year of 4s about 4500 miles & convinced cost of opertaion of 4s is much less than 150hp 2s any brand.

Had an 03 RX-1, now have the 07 Attak. Can't compare the sleds. RX-1 was short track & might have been slightly faster top end & got about 1-2 mpg (Canadian) better than my Attak. Hole shots & corner to corner kook up/excelleration MUCH better with the Attak. WE did 502 km (300 miles) in one day this season on the attak in Southern NB, a huge day, but was not sore at all at the end of the day & could have went further. Never could have done that on my RX-1, after a few 300 km days I always felt like I was beaten with a baseball bat.
The 136" attak is much easier to handle around corners than my RX-1 was as well.

Apex vs RX-1, easy choice for me Apex, hands down is the better sled. Still getting 15-16 mpg & I ride hard (wish my Jeep TJ got that type of mileage). Riceburner is in Saint John & his comments are very accurate & similar to my expierience.
