Red RX, I thought a few of us may be interested. What made you switch from the RX to the Rev and come back?

Was it reliability? Handling? Motor?

Just curious.

Why switch to a REV and then back to an RX1?

I would be willing to bet it was that POS rear skid on the 03 RX1...I really did not like it.....

IMHO....the new rear skid makes this sled 95% PERFECT.....now I am just waiting for EFI and the masterpiece will be complete!

Been riding Polaris for the past 5 years. Switched to them cause the Yami trailing arm design did not float very well. My last sled was a 800
XCR, done to the 9's, very fast and floated very well. Came back to Yami cause I wanted a long track trail sled. Getting too old for the hotrods. Looking for ride, reliabillity,etc. So I bought an 04 Warrior and put a turbo on it. Got the best of all worlds. Comfort, speed etc. Now I got the couch with the attitude.

I used to ride ski-doo, they are okay but i did not like the rev too much and the direction they were going, so i ended up with the rx1 mtn 04 edition, 2 of them and snowchecked a 05 rx1mtn, and have not looked back

I switched from polaris because of the crank problems ,but mainly because I heard how well these things go with turbo's!In my little group of riding buddy's they had 9 engine failures ,5 skidoo's and with one this last weekend that would make 4 polaris's.With 2,000 km's of aggressive deep powder mountain riding I have not even so much as blown a belt.I will not upgrade again till yamaha fuel injects there sleds .

I didn't make the switch this year.... I did it the first year with an '03 RX-1 mtn. I switched from Polaris after rebuild after another and haven't looked back.

I am coming off an 04 Renegade X 600 SDI to a Rage. Why the switch? 1. My doo dealer sucks. 2. Bombi forgot how to build motors.
